An educational talk entitled, "An insight into spirituality and its relevance in the Public Service" forms part of activities for Public Service Day 2016. The Talk is carded for Thursday September 22, 2016 at the University of the West Indies, Open Campus and will be delivered by Mr. Ray Harris, Attorney at Law and Legal Consultant.
In his lecture, Mr. Harris will aim at explaining the meaning of spirituality and how individuals must not only understand certain basic immutable spiritual laws but must endeavour to live in conformity with them.
In addition to his insight into a few of those spiritual laws, the speaker will examine the Public Service as an institution as well as the importance of spirituality to the public service.
Public Service Day will be celebrated on Friday, December 2, 2016 with an Awards and Recognition Ceremony. The theme for this year's observance is "Embracing the Challenge: Rethink, Rebuild, Transform."
